Truly a beautiful building, teeming with history. Exploring the capitol will lead you through some of the most gorgeous internal and external architecture of any government building in the country.

If you'd like a free guided tour, enter through the Legislative Office Building and check in with the League of Women Voters (who always wear red tops). They have years of experience and love to help.

Tip from a former employee: If you want to see the architecture, interior design, and artifacts, but NOT be elbow-to-elbow with loud lobbyists and demonstrators all day, go during July - December.
