Always a nice attraction! Well kept and you get info in multiple languages. The market underneath is great to browse around for traditional products. Minus points for the parking; always problematic.
I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed spending time exploring the castle, reading about the history of it all & some tales in English. There was also in the native language and in German.
The garden was very well kept with roses, trees & lovely lake too. Inside, I enjoyed checking out the tiny rooms, going through dark tunnels & climbing narrow staircases, finding hidden compartments
Promoted as Dracula's castle, it's in a beautiful and green environment. Well maintained building which deserves visiting but rather not for its myth :)
